Free Smoke Detectors

The Burton Fire Department has launched an initiative to ensure that there is at least one working smoke detector in every residence in the City of Burton.  Burton fire fighters will come to your home at no charge and install a working smoke detector.  Installation takes only fifteen minutes.  This program is available only to residents of the City of Burton. 

Residents can schedule an appointment by calling 810-742-2158 or send a e-mail to kwgould@aol.com.
